Allow me to introduce myself!: I'm happy to tell you a little about myself. My nick name is safegaard, and I'm 48 years old. I currently live with mydearest zyraxa in Denmark. My hobbies are 3d art, computers, psykologie, photography mowiemaking, sailing, reading, and making music. Please take a look at my photos, videos, and music collection, too. That will give you a better impression about me. Have fun! About Me (or: No More Lederhosen)I was born in 1961 in Denmark and grow up in a home with one of the first TV-sets in our country. At that time only 2 hours broadcastingwere broadcasted each day, and of course only in black and white. If you wanted to see a movie or a cartoon you had to go to the cinema. My first movie experience was “Sound of Music” in which I fell asleep after the first 20 minutes or so. Somebody had switched off the lights and the room was so warm and dark, so of course my sleeping instinct took over.It was a mixed-up experience for me. I didn’t understand one word they said in English. But one thing got to my attention: Lederhosen.The boys wore lederhosen and my parents had bought a pair of this “clothing from hell” on a holyday. I had to wear them until they were worn out. so I really felt connected to the boys in that film. They have a hard life, I easily understood, so when the grown-ups talked about this grand movie, and those poor, poor children, I couldn’t agree more. Lederhosen I thought, they had to wear lederhosen, yes, poor, poor children. My Cartoon experience was the weekly Donald Duck, which I loved.After that a lot of things changed. We moved to the city and I could go to the cinema whenever new movies came up. I got introduced to a lot of new comic books and cartoons and I read cartoons every day. At the same time I got into the world of books and read all the classics and all the science fiction I could get in my hands. At least 2 books a week.I tried to learn to draw and paint but I never succeeded. My hands wouldn’t or couldn’t function that way. I event bought study books about drawing and spent hour after hour trying, but with the same negative result. When the first PC or Game console arrived, I got such one, yes! That was fascinating stuff, and from Atari, and Commodore to Amiga, I finally got my first reel computer. I grow up and ended in a carrier of accounting business, and economic world, and I hated it. BUT I got the opportunity to own and work with computers, and that was worth the entire struggle. The internet arrived and it was still just letters and symbols on the screen in the early DOS days but at that time it was fun. When Windows arrived it took me into new directions and I have a second live there. In 2008 I got a fast enough computer system to run 3d and animation programs. First I just thought it was for my kids, but in 2009 I realized, it gave me the opportunity to do what I always had desired, from my childhood till now. I could make animations, cartoons and, best of all, animated movies with my own story and figures.Here in July 2009 I bought Iclone 3.2 and I am already a conducted fan. It´s so fast and easy to start using the program and there is no limit to how far you can get, and how excellent the results can be. Just for fun, or HD big screen quality. It’s all up to once individual personal skills and creative fantasy.It was amazing to realize that. Of course there is a lot to learn to make god results, but it´s so much fun. I do not exactly know where it will end, but I promise you one thing: Newer, newer, newer, will any of my characters were lederhosen. It took me 3 years to ruin mine. 3 very hard years among non-lederhosen-wearing-boys in school.
